Question: Why is HFOT important to both of you?
Answer: Of all our charities HFOT has to be our favorite. We have supported our troops heavily with thousands of care packages, but to actually help better the lives of our severely injured, we consider it an honor and a privilege.

Question: Why did you choose to leave HFOT in your will and or trust?
Answer: We've honored our troops in our lifetime, and in death it will be our parting gift.

Question: Have you attended or met any of our Veterans, and how did that impact you personally?
Answer: From the first groundbreaking event we attended, we were hooked! It was so special to meet the veteran and the family. Also, there aren't many charities where you can actually see where your donation goes, and that makes HFOT extra special to us. We've been to many key ceremonies too and being able to actually get a tour of the beautiful new home showed us how invaluable these homes are to our severely injured veterans. It was also a joy to personally give them a housewarming gift, and to tease them that now they wouldn't be able to get out of doing chores!

Question: If you could describe HFOT's mission in one sentence what would that sentence be?
Answer: In one sentence: HFOT improves the quality of life for our severely wounded veterans and their families.
I also wanted to add that considering their low salaries and poor medical care, I'm so thankful that at least there is HFOT!
